RS 02 High Angle Rope Rescue
Proficiency in rope rescue is one of many skills that are required by an emergency response team member. Preferred techniques and equipment vary depending on the company or agency requesting the training and the ability of the team to practice. Lack of a commitment to practice will dictate using simplified procedures and less improvisation.
Each course begins with a discussion of risks associated with rescue procedures and how to manage these risks. All rescue exercises are founded on organization, communication and teamwork. Considerations are made for the type of work being done at a job site and the training focuses on the most likely rescue scenarios. It is important to tailor this course to the customers needs.
