RS 01 Fall Retrieval

This course relies on the use of simple, prerigged rescue equipment to evacuate an injured or stranded worker from a fall arrest system. Training is designed for workers or supervision on a job site that can respond quickly to a relatively simple rescue problem. An understanding of fall arrest systems is required to plan the course of action.

The student is given the necessary tools to practice the skills in a safe controlled environment. The rescue procedures are documented in a plan that will satisfy the regulatory requirements when using fall arrest equipment.
